I'm an Indian in Kuwait. I've a daughter who is past 3. She was a wonderful girl when she was even younger. Everyone used to admire her. she used to be very responsible, obedient, sensible, independent, for her age.
By 2 1/2, she started having tantrums. Now her tantrums are so bad that i cannot handle it. i don't know how to handle it. Could someone please help me?

3 Year old tantrum
revathy.. this stage popularly known as terrible 2's and terrible 3's is a period in the child's life... where they are just learning to express themselves... they are just confused with what they feel... so when they get angry they might throw things or hurt you.. its just a means of expression... its better not to take it personally.. i know that is hard.. even i go thru this stage at times... whoever has a child this age goes this same situation...
So options to handle the situation is:
Hope this helps.. Every parent having children in this age groups, goes through such days :) so you are not alone :)
Handling Children when throwing Tantrums!!!
Hi Revathy $ Chimes
I am also a parents of a sweet little boy 2yrs 11months old he is very naughty and sweet.
And Revathy I really agree with Chimes about handling the baby
In a playful manner and just get their minds off the tanturms OR just see if the baby is sleepy or hungry.
Yes these two are the major points to handle the baby, while for me my husband always says that "Whenever our baby is throwing tantrums on me or you he doesnt keep quiet when I say him to be, but what do u do that he is quiet very fast".
Its just Because The Almighty has created a Mother as she is always calm, cool, has patience, understanding and over all knows that she loves her baby and so does the baby loves her.
ONCE YOUR BABY SMILES AT YOU AND GIVES YOU A SWEET HUG AND LOVES YOU A MOTHER FORGET EVERYTHING.
So just love you baby and understand him instead of shouting and biting one as many do soo.....
Parents are always there for each other don't worry
Thank you
Thank you Chimes and Huda for the lovely suggestions that you have given... I will surely give it a try.. I now realize that I need to correct my attitude being a mother... Thank you for your time in helping me..
