Hiralal Tharun Kumar – Judge for Dance Competition

Yes…. The much awaited Dance competition by Kalanjali Kuwait will be conducted during the Eid holidays and to coincide with Children’s Day, on 11th Nov 2011.

B. H. Tharun Kumar, well known choreographer from Indian Film industry will be the Judge for the Dance Competition.

Tharun Kumar started his career as an Assistant Choreographer with his father Late Sri B Hiralal, who has choreographed for many Hindi movies including Guide, Tere Mere Sapne, Ganga Jamuna, Jis Desh Mein Ganga Behethi Hai and Mera Naam Joker.

His father had also done choreographed for well known Tamil movies including Parasakthi, Raktha Kannir and Vanjikottai Valiban (for the well known song – Yaradi nee Mohini).

His father had also given choreography to many movies in Telugu and Kannada also.

Tharun Master, as he is popularly known, started his choreography career with Odissa and Bengali movies.

Kalanjali Team meets H.E. Ambassador of India, Kuwait

One always has lot of excitement & hope before they meet someone new and it was true for the Executive Committee of Kalanjali Kuwait, when they met, His Excellency Satish Chand Mehta - Ambassador of India, Kuwait, who within less than 36 hours of his arrival, presented his credentials to His Highness Amir of Kuwait.

Ambassador Mehta a very cool person, willing to hear very patiently, know about people, keenness to help and makes one very comfortable even in the first meeting. Highly read person, who is able to generate information and gives a hope for our thoughts.

Kalanjali team briefed Ambassador about Kalanjali’s past activities as well as their calendar of events planned for the year 2011-2012. Ambassadors was happy with the activities of Kalanjali as well as praised the role of Indian Diaspora in Kuwait and was glad to hear about Indians doing well in Kuwait and are appreciated by the locals too.

Blood Donation Camp

Kalanjali Kuwait, an Indian Association, registered with Embassy of India, Kuwait, is organizing a BLOOD DONATION CAMP to commemorate India’s Independence Day.

The blood donation camp is on 29th July 2011, in CENTAL BLOOD BANK, Jabriya from 2 PM to 5.30 PM.

Blood Donation gives a proud feeling of touching someone’s life in such a beautiful way. It’s an experience that no words can define. By keeping the bloodline flowing, you will greatly contribute towards a healthier, happier society!!

Kalanjali Kuwait requests all well-wishers to come forward voluntarily and donate blood.

Kalanjali Carnival

 

Kalanjali Kuwait is pleased to announce KALANJALI CARNIVAL – on the occasion of UGADI / BHAISAKI / GUDIPADUVA – on 1st April 2011 in Indian Community School, Khaitan Branch.
 
There will be lot of Cultural programs including RANGOLI Competition, Salad Dressing Competition (for men) and the FINALS of Sa Re Ga Ma – Voice of Kalanjali 2011.
