Kuwait MoI: Wrong diagnosis, call 112
The Interior Ministry intends to intervene and bring to justice doctors or medical staff involved in making wrong drug prescriptions for patients.
Colonel Khaled Bin Salamah, in charge of operations at the central operations department of the ministry, said in a statement on Wednesday that the ministry would launch a new service, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, through which hospitals, doctors or citizens can report about erroneous prescriptions of medicines or diagnosis of illnesses.
The ministry staff had in the past dealt with such cases after being tipped off, he said, noting anew that such cases can be currently reported to the telephone number 112.
