Shopping in my experience

I normally feel comfortable shopping at one shopping mall because i know where the things are kept and i can complete the shopping fast... There are so many malls here in Kuwait.. when i go to the malls for shopping.. I feel like am in "Wonderland" :)
Being an expatriate here in Kuwait, I need to find the mall which caters to the products I use
For example, Indians in Kuwait need to find the mall where you get all the Indian Products you use.

The first time i went to a mall, it took around 3-4 hours to complete the shopping... I didn't know where the things were... although i had a list, I didn't know which product to buy or not.. and besides the kids get exhausted and start throwing tantrums...
The next month I went to the same mall...n now I'm really comfortable with the place...
Do the monthly shopping at one place, if you have a really busy schedule... It saves a lot of time and it would be easy on the kids

Check List
It so often appears to me that after the monthly shopping, there are things that i forgot to buy... and I have to get the rest of the things from the shop near by...
One ideal way i found was, to keep a checklist of the items something like a master checklist. And you make a sub checklist by looking into this master checklist.. based on where you are shopping... the same order how the mall you are shopping at, have placed the products

This is the format i took

1) Toiletries
Soap, Shampoo, Shaving cream....
2)Beauty Products
Face cream, moisturizing cream....
3)Baby Products
Milk Powder, diapers, wet wipes, soap, shampoo
4)Utensils
stew pot, wooden ladle...
5)Beverages
Tea Dust, coffee powder...
6)Cereals & Snacks
Biscuits, Oats, cornflakes...
7)Chocolates and sweeteners
Chocolates, Honey, sugar...
8)Grains & powders
Rice, wheat flour
9)Milk and Milk Products
Fresh Milk, Milk Powder, Yogurt, Laban, cheese, butter..
10)Juice
Kids juice, carbonated drinks, fresh juice...
11)Meat and Meat Products
Chicken, sausage, mozzarella, Minced Meat...
12)Frozen Items
Frozen vegetables, Chappatti, Ice cream :)
13)Vegetables
carrot, cabbage, onions...
14)Fruits
apple, banana, orange...
15)Bread and related items
Bread, Khubz, Bun...
Am sure many are familiar with this pattern of shopping :)
