DSL Comparison - Kuwait

A comparision of the DSL cost in Kuwait. The costs are comparitivly OK. however, it looks like the KEMS is almost double in cost comparing the other providers, i don't know if the prices mentioned in thier website is old. I have experiance with QualityNet and they seems to be good most of the time.

The price mentioned below is in KWD for one year subscriptions

Update: I just have been notified by someone that the KEMS rates are changed. The changes are reflected below. The interesting thing is that the 256 and 512 KB lines will cost the same (135) and the connections with speed 5 mbps to 8 mbps will cost the same that is 599 per annum

I found this Video at 248am and it is amazing to see this gigantic truck. It is said to be 64 times bigger in volume which is 4:1 ratio of the normal truck

It has a house built in with multiple bedrooms. It is owned by Shaikh Hamed of UAE

Indians not allowed... this is crap...Haagen Dazs.. grow up

Just happen to see this blog at Times of India. IT details the experiance of an Indian happens to visit a new icecream outlet of Haagen Dazs, which is just opened in Delhi. It was like he was not given access to the outlet as the person was not holding an International Passport. The advertisement said "Exclusive preview for international Travellers" with more non-sense in fine print, which is " Access restricted only to holders of international passports" I only have one thing to tell Haagen Dazs... kids grow up

Caesars confectionery

Last week was my daughters birthday and we have celebrated the same on Thursday evening with a small group of friends and relatives. The Monday prior to the celebrations, we have decided to order the birthday cake from Caesars confectionery. The order was given at their Salmiya branch, block 10, and told them to get the birthday cake ready by 6:00 pm on Thursday.

On Thursday I called them up and checked if the cake was ready and also checked if they could home deliver for which I got the reply that the cake is ready but they have no home delivery. So I had to go and collect.

When I went there, I was surprised to get the response that the cake is not ready and will not be ready. Oops... I asked them what went wrong... It seems that they have taken the order for 20th and not 19th. I was kind of lost... there are guests at home and the cake we desired is not ready...
