What are the formalities in India after getting Residency Work Visa (not Visit Visa) from sponsor

Recently I'm going to Kuwait after getting Residency Visa from my sponsor. I already got the PCC for Kuwait & my edu. certificate is also attested by Kuwait MOFA during my staying at Kuwait on Visit Visa couple of months ago. Now what will be the further proceedings after getting the above mentioned visa? I'm staying at Kolkata.

you will have to do medical


  • you will have to do medical at your nearest authorized medical center.

  • Sent all your reports (medical and pcc) to the Kuwait embassy nearest to you along with the visa and passport. It is better to get it done thru a releable travel agent if you are not very close the embassies or go yourself

  • Embassy will stamp the residency on your passport and return to you.

    Once you have the visa stamped on your passport you can travel to Kuwait

I am currently at India.  My employer in Kuwait wud be sending the work permit to me by courier.  I was told by my employer that I need to undertake fingerprinting, valid for atleast 1 month and medical at India. Where is `finger printing' done in India and what is the procedure?
