Kuwait Cost of living - how much it will be?

I am new to Kuwait. I would like to know the cost of living for a family with 2 kids. One school going and the other one of 2 years. We plan to have a modest living here like a 2 bed room flat, normal household items, monthly once dining out etc...

For the type of living mentioned by you, the cost of living in kuwait could be approximately as follows.

  • 180 -240 House Rent (depending on the locality)
  • 75 Groceries+ Misc exps.
  • 100 Car Hire / OR Loan installment + Petrol
  • 5 Land Line Rent
  • 5 Mobile Rent OR Prepaid Card
  • 10 Electricity
  • 10 Internet at home
  • 5 Television Channel Connection

Approximately it is around 400 KD. However, the spending is within you hands and you might end up in slightly higher or lower in spending.
