Can someone help me - regarding salary & cost of living in Kuwait
Hi,
I am planning to move to Kuwait with my family - wife & 2 kids. Would like to know the cost of living which includes the following
1. rent for a 2 BHK flat. The preferred location is in the city limits with access to all places
2. water
3. electricity
4. groceries & house hold expense
5. telephone - mobile & land line
6. vehicle expenes
7. schooling/ education
8. clothing
9. Insurance
10.Misc
Inorder to have a sufficient saving, what would be the salary range ?
Can someone help me in getting the above details

You should be looking at
You should be looking at around 1000 KD as your salary. You will get apartments from 200KD to 300 KD. consider another 200 KD maximum for all other expenses you have mentioned. This will leave you with about 500 Kd as saving.
rent -200kd,electricity

Which is the best Indian school having CBSE syllabus in Kuwait ? Is Gulf Indian School, which is situated at Fahaheel is a good option ?
Is there any housing - 2bhk/3bhk - available on rental at the rate of 200kd pm ? What is the distance between Fahaheel and Safat ? How much time it will take to reach from one point to other by car ?

Hello MSW,
Though I am not very familiar with Fahaheel Area, I know that there are many Indian schools with CBSE syllabus. In addition to Gulf India, you have DPS, Bharatheeya Vidya bhavan etc... near that area.
In Fahaheel or Mangaf you should find good 2bhk apartments, may not be in the new buildings but definitly on decent ones.

Fahaheel to Safat would be around 35 KM or rather 30-40 minutes drive, if not stuck in a traffic jam.
If you work at Safat and there are no dependencies to stay in Fahaheel other than schools, you should plan somewhere closer to the work place. There are lots of Indian schools across the country.
